Water leak - front passenger

Postby PitbullWheeler » Thu Mar 17, 2011 3:17 pm

Hi, I have a water leak on the front passenger side that pours out the bottom of the dash board. Someone mentioned something about the heater box at one time to me. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Any hints would be helpful. Thanks, Michelle

First post, asking how to fix a problem, I thought you were a spammer! After confirming your local to CT, here's my thought  :

Floors flooding, I'm guessing in a Jeep - It's known to happen due to the drains IN the cowl area. Take off the panel just behind the hood where your wiper motor is. I'll bet dollars to donuts you've got clogged drains in there.

... And people know how much I like donuts, so...

well, if it's leaking ANTIFREEZE, it could be a heater core leak. Thats the little radiator in the heater box that air blows thru for heat. If it's water, I'll go with Ghaniba's diagnosis
