Re: Moab 2011

Definelty worth the time to look into it. Last time I looked it was about $700 each way. It would be interesting to see if you could get a package deal worked out.

Re: Moab 2011

If my math is right it's closer to 900 miles a day, and if the 2.5 days turn into 3 days it's really only 750 miles a day and that's doable even by my wife, no offense Sara. The distance is the one big barrier to wheeling in Moab for us east coasters. The longer you take to drive it the less time we...

RTI Ramp

Anyone have an RTI ramp sitting around? I'd like to take a few measurements on the Jeep and this would make it easy.

The Moab trip is on. We have a small group leaving April 6th or 7th, 2011. The distance from Hartford is about 2,260 miles and we have an expected travel time 2.5 days. We'll be arriving in Moab sometime over that next weekend and hope to get wheeling right away and continue through Friday April 15t...

Re: Tekoa Mtn is burning again

If access was a problem for them and more damage to the area occurred during the fire because of the decreased ability to get around, maybe this is an opportunity to get back in. Any politicians in the group?

Re: fuel consumption

I too have been thinking of trying to get rid of what hangs down below the frame back there and shedding a few pounds. I was thinking of tucking my tank up in rather than cutting the size down but don't want to encrouch on the passenger space. Dave, you should weigh in as you've recently use two &qu...

Tow Strap Configuration

Welcome(me) to the world of towing. I just picked up a trailer and have been looking for the best way to strap the Jeep on top. I’ve searched far and wide for the best way, but like so many other things like the type of rigs we drive and tire brand we’re loyal to, it comes down to opinion, and a lot...
